This month Workshop/APD introduced a new Associates program, diversifying our leadership to include and recognize seven senior staffers who have guided our firm through a period of strategic growth.
The group includes two senior associates, Design Director Andrew Kline and Managing Director Stephan Thimme, along with associates Michael Ellison, design director, residential interiors; Tyler Marshall, managing director; Brook Quach, design director; and Zachary Helmers, senior project manager.
These leaders bring vast and highly varied architectural, interior and product design, project management, and business development expertise to the firm, and to our work, The group has been instrumental in leading pinnacle work including NYC developments 111 Leroy Street, The Printing House, 70 Charlton and 88 & 90 Lexington; BLDG92 at the Brooklyn Navy Yard; award winning residential projects and product designs; and Brad Pitt’s Global Green competition for New Orleans. Their projects have also been featured in global publications including Elle Décor, Architectural Digest, Metropolis, Marie Claire Maison, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and Forbes, and has helped to solidify the firm’s place among Ocean Home’s Top 50 Coastal Architects since the list’s inception.
They have also helped Workshop/APD to build a best-in-class team dedicated to high-end homes and apartments, luxury residential developments, groundbreaking hotels and restaurants, and design collaborations with leading industry partners. Aside from celebrating our leaders and their achievements this new program ensures that there is a clear path forward for all of our extraordinarily talented staff. Workshop/APD was built on the collective strength of the team and we hope that in the years to come many others will rise to join this first group.
