On the Upper East Side, a young family engaged our team to transform a dated prewar apartment into a light, bright, contemporary family home. To improve flow and support the client’s casual modern lifestyle, we opened up a series of small secondary rooms, created chic entertaining spaces,  and applied a signature, architectural Workshop/APD lens to the home’s classic detailing.
