A custom Workshop/APD kitchen is often one of the highlights of a finished project. Whether it’s a home’s main attraction, a sleek and simple base for entertaining, or a space that completely blends into the rest of the residence, our team is always striving to design spaces that are conversation-worthy. While easily overlooked, kitchen millwork is an incredible opportunity to give highly functional interior architecture a strong personality.

Through over two decades of collaboration with highly skilled artisans and carpenters, our architects and designers have been able to refine and perfect complex design intent – such as our stone-clad cabinet fronts – to ensure optimal functionality and sustainability. This technical knowledge, paired with the creative force of our studios, means that every kitchen is unique.

Kitchen design has always been a clear passion for the firm. With Workshop/APD designed kitchens and millwork well into the hundreds, it is each unique space and client that continue to propel the Workshop/APD narrative and design ethos to new heights to not only create stunning spaces but to also make the heart of each home more efficient, usable and full of surprises.

Breaking the all-white mold, we have been known to bridge the gap between sterile and sleek with worked materials, unusual shapes and pops of color, particularly in vacation homes and secondary kitchens.

When high-end Italian kitchen brand Aster Cucine presented an opportunity to create our own series, the team jumped at the chance. The result is Timeline (pictured to the right), a sleek and sophisticated line drawn from the history of craftmanship and artisans of centuries past.
