Hotel Julian

Our lobby design for Michigan Avenue’s Hotel Julian, and the design for its restaurant About Last Knife were part of a 2016 project to bring new life to the 1912 building. The design, both timeless and carefully timewarn to retain its historic character, evokes downtown Chicago’s gritty industrial history and creates a sense of spaciousness in a building that is less-than fifty foot wide building.
