1 Hotel Nashville is the city’s first sustainable luxury hotel, and Workshop/APD’s first hotel for the premier hospitality brand. Taking inspiration from the extraordinary natural landscape of Nashville, the property pay tribute to central Tennessee’s rivers, lakes, mountains, fields and forests. With rustic-luxe guest rooms, sophisticated rooftop bar and an immersive, relaxing wellness spa, the project challenged Workshop/APD to go beyond popular Music City Themes, immersing guests instead in a compelling, contemporary interpretation of the local natural landscape.
1 Hotel Nashville was named in Hospitality Design’s 41 Best Hotel Openings in 2022 and the inaugural AHEAD 100. It has been a finalist for the Sustainable category in the 2023 HD Awards, and a finalist for the Hotel Newbuild and Sustainability categories in the AHEAD Americas Awards.
